customer TEStimonials"Hi Ron, A couple of years ago Sandy and I decided that we had to do something with our back yard deck which was enormous, not your typical deck. We needed to replace it and wanted to do something different, but had no idea what that different would be. After talking to many people, going to home shows, and the street of dreams we hired an individual that was supposed to be excellent in the area that we needed design. We paid him in full up front and he started designs. After three different reviews, all of which had much to desire, we decided that our choice was wrong, and even though he was willing to continue coming up with concepts, he did not have the imagination that we were looking for, so we decided to bite the bullet and not continue using him even though we had prepaid for his work. We then decided that since we were going to have the deck done, we might as well have the entire 1.3 acres designed. We knew that we could not implement all of the design due to cost constraints, but we thought that we would at least have the plan in place in implement it piece by piece. We interviewed many and had many different proposals. We had decided on one individual of many proposals and were ready to give him the contract. We then met you at a home show and thought why not take one more bid. We did and it was yours. You came in as the highest bidder, not by much but still the highest. We were torn between your bid and the one we had previously decided on, and almost as the toss of a coin, we gave the contract to the other gentleman. He was a professional, and designed and designated the plant types for the entire property. Although he did his job and was professional, we believe we received the same landscape with different foliage. We thought there was not enough imagination involved. He saw things as they were and made them better. We were looking for someone who saw things that were not there and visualized them for us. At that point, after paying for two plans, we were not interested in spending the huge amounts of money to implement either plan. That is when we contacted you again and retained your services. To say that your original plan that you presented to us was a complete delight, would be a vast understatement. You saw things in our landscape that we never would have dreamed of. As a result we entered into a contract to make it a reality. You delivered on time, in detail, on budget, and with concepts that would literally transform our property. This was only the beginning. Although we had the right to bid the program to any landscape contractor we wanted, you did recommend one that you were comfortable with. We did, in fact, take your advice and use them. Here is where the real benefit came in. As we started down the road to implement your plan we started to add a back yard kitchen. This definitely changed the landscape that we could use. You met us at the show to see what we were looking at as far as products, and then redesigned the landscape, as it was being installed, to make the most our of the significant changes. Because we were working with your preferred contractor you did this at no additional charges, even though, as we know it incurred significant time and talent on your part. Knowing this I also know that your contractor remained competitive in their pricing. The bottom line is the end result, and that result is that we could not be happier. We believe that as a direct result of your design that you have added substantial value to our property, that it could be showcased in real estate tours, and our satisfaction is total. As time and budgets permit, we look forward to using your talents exclusively as we complete the rest of the property. Thanks Ron, and please feel free to give my private cell phone number out to anyone that would like to speak with me about you work." Rick and Sandy Walsh |
